The miles of marriage...

I once was a lost little boy with no clue about love. To me love was a new toy not someone to be held above.
There was this girl I knew but only through words on a screen. As I learned all she had been through all I could think was how they were mean.
I felt so helpless, what could I do I wanted to open to her my door. As we talked my love for her grew and I wept as I fell to the floor.
Over time we became older and our conversations grew. As my feelings for her turned bolder I learned she longed for me too.
